I lost myself

Post by Wolf Heart »

Four years ago I was a very frequent member on these boards. I was very sure in my path and confident in my skills and knowledge.
Now I feel lost and confused. I shut myself off from my spiritual self and lost much of what I knew. I've no idea where to start now. I came across these forums by chance today and figured it was the best place to start finding myself again.

When last I left here I was a 19 year old college student.

I am now a 23 year old married woman with 2 children.

I am different than the person I was then, but in some ways, still the same.

Can anyone help me along my path?

I know how that feels, so I can relate. Hmmm... Not sure if I'm the right one to guide you... But I can try? I mean, certainly don't hurt to try? :) i am trying to figure which path is mine. Maybe we can help each other.

Do like we all did when we were learning...
Start slowly with reading some 101 books.
Scott Cunningham's books are the best
in my opinion.
Earth,Air, Fire and Water
Earth Power
Wicca: Guide for the solitary practitioner
Living Wicca
Altho they are titled wicca Scott's writing
can be for any pagan path for starters.
Next on my list would be...
Dorothy Morrison
Deborah Lipp
Christopher Penczak
and of coarse Ted Andrews !
Good hunting :~)

Being lost is a good place if you want to find something but you don't know what it is.
If you've posted with you obviously know what you want even though you don't know who you are. Act on that, it always helps.
It's also a lot more fun that way.
