Lives of a Witches Past. (Solairis's blog thing)

Post by Solairis »

Okay first I want to say that this isn't a acutal blog it's more of a collection of my ramblings, such as spells, recipes, and whatnot. If you haven't noticed but I'm new around here, and I think this way with me starting a blog, that this will help create a more clear image of who I am as a person, not just the fact that I am Wiccan. Some people see me and think that i"m just an ordinary girl that i'm just a plain jane so to say, but little do they know but I feel their eyes watching me. I'm not paranoid but I'm highly aware of my surroundings. I must be the closest to the door in a crowded room (fear of inability to escape if something should go wrong) so I'm generally the last person people see or the first depending on how you look at things. But the entire time I"m by the door they look and judge, thinking "why does she stand next to the door?" then someone will ask me to move, which I refuse because of my fear. They don't realize that I am scared. Which brings me to my next point, music helps with my fears. One of which that has helped me is Nickleback's song If Today Was Your Last Day. http://youtu.be/lrXIQQ8PeRs the lyrics are:

If Today Was Your Last Day
By Nickleback

My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had, if today was your last day?
What if, what if, if today was your last day?

Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the price is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you're never living twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?

And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of?
Swear up and down to God above
That you'd finally fall in love if today was your last day?

If today was your last day
Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart?
You know it's never too late to shoot for the stars
Regardless of who you are

So do whatever it takes
'Cause you can't rewind a moment in this life
Let nothing stand in your way
'Cause the hands of time are never on your side

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?

And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of
Swear up and down to God above
That you'd finally fall in love if today was your last day?

What would you do if today was your last day? I mean would you tell those you hurt that you were sorry? I think if today was my last day I would want to do something for someone who didn't have anything. I would give them hope in knowing that not everyone doesn't care, that there are people who do care. I'm not claiming I'm a saint, but I think it would be soul satisfying if I was able to help one last person. Even if it was to give them my dying breath so they could live longer. Yes I'm this type of person I can feel you thinking that for me to give something so precious as air up I have to be completely selfless or selfish, however you wanna look at it. But I see it as a way of giving someone something that they can be thankful for. Which we should be thankful for a lot of things that we take for granted. I've been to the lowest of lows, I've seen what people will do to survive, I've done some things I"m not so proud of, but they are a part of what made me who I am today. And today I am me. I think this is where I will end this now. Cause it's late and I need sleep. but I will post more another time. Until then MERRY MEET, MERRY PART, AND MERRY MEET AGAIN MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
