Something to play with ...

oky doky.. right ...

* 2 - 6 cm squared peices of white material (preferably anything easy to glue or sew together)
* a reel of white cotton and a needle
* Mortar and Pestle / Cauldron (anything thats like a bowl really)

now these can be seeds, the actual plant or Oil (it was would be good if most of it was the plant though)
* Fennel/hyssop/motherwort - because it coutners negative energies
* Vervain/thyme/parsely/pine - for cleansing and purification
* Betony/dill/mint - for Protection
* Lavender - 'cos its just so great (lol

now ive put in the variations so you can pick what smells you like best or what works well together for you!

- ok sew your peices of cloth together around three of the edges so it is like a pocket.

- mix all of your herbs/oils/seeds etc together, not so its all like a pste or a load of mess, just mixed enough so its all combined and put it in your 'pocket'

-sew the final side shut and leave about 6cm of the thread sticking out the top/center.

Now you can use that thread to hang the parcel above doorways or windows to encourage safety, cleansing and countering negative energies.

you can do this with ANY herbs to influence anything you want, you could make some small ones and attach to a dream catcher to encourage a good nights sleep or phrophetic dreaming etc.
i have made one of these myselfs and not only do they smell nice (while the smell lasts) and look pretty (add your own unique style, add sequins or lace ^^)
but just knowing they are there make you feel safer to ^^
