For those filling emergency water containers for hurricane Irma remember Clorox is now concentrated and some is scented. The company recommends 12 drops of concentrated unscented Clorox for one gallon of water or 1/8 teaspoon for two gallons of water.

Or if you can ...boil it for 5 minutes (you're supposed to only need 1 and 3 at higher elevations)
