Hey, I'm sure this is a dumb question, but it's something I've been kind of wondering for a while.
When one is supposed to use salt or saltwater, what kind of salt is best?
Because there's table salt, kosher salt, rock salt, sea salt.
Which one would you recommend, and why?
I realize that in a pinch, any kind will do, but I'm curious what you think is the best to use.

I generally use Kosher or Sea Salt. I prefer Kosher, I like the "grain" of it the best. Sea Salt is kind of sharp and edgey. Kosher is more.. flakey.

i would use sea salt because its the best, did you know that theres black salt? black salt is used to sprinkle a little on your front door which keeps unwanted visitors away.

I have used both but I perfer Kosher. I keep more of it around for canning.

I've been leaning towards sea salt myself, because I have good access to it, and I like it a lot!

I tend to use Kosher salt because I cook with it. Though some sea salt is Kosher- simply because it meets the Jewish laws of kosher foods, and that is, that it does not contain any harmful or unnatural additives. I like the flaky crystals that are easily ground and used for magical of food prep.
