To All Here:
Mom had lung cancer, inoperable due to location...
I was driving back and forth to Uncle's house to
visit with her. I'd been asking her to come out and
stay with me...She came out for the week-end and
stayed 3 months ! Told me she was more comfortable
in my apartment than at her brother's ! She kept telling
me thank you for doing this for her. I told her I'd do it
again in a heartbeat ! She had hospice nurses coming out
twice a week. First 6wks we'd go to town couple
times a month, couldn't stay out long tho, her oxygen
would run out. We'd go to her bank and she's take all but
a couple hundred out; what she didn't use that month
would go into the money bag-for me when...
It then threw her for a loop by taking all her energy
to be able to sit up for any length of time ! My bro
came to my place to visit with Mom(about 2hrs!).
Then she couldn't keep her eyes open for any length
of time. Her nurse told me to watch for her trying
to find words, get confused, or lost; two weeks after
it started. We all decided not to tell her because she
already had enough on her plate just dealing with
breathing. I went to her bank and got out $ 400 twice,
less the two weeks she was gone
Mom passed on Valentine's, once she was showing sign
the cancer had spread to her brain it wasn't long after
she crossed over *waaa!*
Little over a month ago, and I'm disowned from her
brother and my brother
I told my brother Momthought Vic was going to take care of it and for
her not to worry about it.
Mom gave Vic(her's) her truck, M. her motorhome
and got the cash... V. thought money in bank
was to pay for cremation. BUT the day before he
told me he thought the kids should pay for it. The
next day I gave him $300(bro & sis pay rest).
He closed out her account and found there was
$8 in it...I guess he was depending on it ?
Then I'm called a liar and a thief !
Their loss !
I'm trying to get back into...cheerful ? I have
not forgotten these boards, an old friend invited
me to some other board. I'm checking it out...
