Eating spirits?

For conversations and questions about hauntings and spirit visitations. This is not the place to talk about demons. In fact, this whole board isn't the place for it. A Christian site is a better place for that.

Eating spirits?

Post by Tutmosis »

I've been working with a new technique to destroy malicious entities permanently. One of the ways I've found to do that is to eat the spirit itself.

There is a chakra I've awakened that deals with the purification and absorption of the entities. I've been doing this for only a few days, but I've noticed a considerable tangible power.

Id like to know if anyone has any experience with this. I believe it's a shamanic practice, but I would like to learn more.

I've transformed neg emotional energy by pushing it into my gut & been energized as it was absorbed, which is like eating it. I have not equated that with eating a spirit, which doesn't sound like a good idea, but I have nothing to base it on.

It was discussed as Transmogrifying

I agree with SpiritTalker.

Energy is one thing, because it can be cleansed, banished, transformed, etc. Spirits with a consciousness are quite different.

But, I’m curious how it would go.

There is a precedent in eastern / asian traditions - to devour the energy/spirit, but it a grey area whether it is the energy of the spirit that is devoured, or the spirit entity itself. This would be prevalent in cultures that either partake in shamanism, and cannibalism or both. Certain tribes of Papua New Guinea would be a prime example.

As you have mentioned "malicious entities" I would assume that you refer to non-human spirits only. Within the Asian perspective, which is deeply animistic, there are spirits and forces that just cannot be destroyed/eaten as they are elemental beings, and while they can appear destructive or malicious, their existence is in effect to provide a balance to the whole.

In line with Nature, a once destructive force (eg Shiva the Destroyer) is in essence just a different aspect of the same energy. Within this example, Shiva (Destroyer), Vishnu (Preserver), Brahma (Creator) are all avatars of the same divinity. We see the same thing with fire, water, volcano, weather forces etc, what is destroyed with such violence, is only met later with gentle exuberance of new life.

As such, it might be dangerous to try to ingest one of these elementals - as it will literally come down to the one that is weaker ultimately being absorbed into or destroyed by the integration.

But maybe some lesser spirits can be absorbed or eaten?
