Re: A Christian. A Wiccan. Can I be both?
I believe it is possible to be a Witch and to acknowledge the Christian God. My mother does that, actually, more or less. I am less partial to the Christian God, but I will put in my thoughts on the matter. As far as the Craft side is concerned, a Witch in my view of things can honor just about any ...

Re: How do you find your root??
I have never really made a specific choice. I have invoked gods from multiple different pantheons (though I know those from the Greek, Egyptian, and Norse pantheons the best) for specific purposes, and when in an average ritual, I usually just call upon the God and Goddess without specific names. As...

Re: How do I continue?
Hello all! A few days ago I bought myself again moonstone (I had lost the previous one, I even don't know where). I am a cancerian, my emotions had been running around like a turbulence and then some relationship problems and I felt so vulnerable. I went to "wiccan" store and I chose a st...

Re: DIY/Crystals On a Budget
It's worth noting that I've found certain artificial crystals to be perfectly capable of holding energy.
It's also worth noting that uncut gems - which carry the same properties as the most beautifully cut stones - are much, MUCH cheaper than their cut and polished versions.

I don't mind you altering the chant a little at all.
I'll be doing this at some point during the waning moon.

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity
Wouldn't waning moon be more appropriate? Since we're banishing things, not bringing them in. Incantations. Right. *rubs hands together* Ancient Goddess Hecate, Magick, moon, and mystery, Guardian of the crossroads three, Now I call your aid to me. Goddess of the triune face, Bring your power, stren...

The stone-sense I have, which guides me without fail to the crystals I want and/or need even when I'm surrounded by hundreds of crystals.
Also for the fact that I'm pretty good at grounding myself to come off of the resultant energy high.

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity
I think that would work brilliantly, firebird, and it would actually probably be better for me, since I don't really want people to be questioning what I'm doing with a candle at the crossroads XD Very good note. I can't. Actually, maybe, but the odds are not good. Still, supplies are frequently a p...

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity
joined* wicks XD I tried to look it up and had to rely on Google's correction to help me out. I haven't invoked Hecate very often, in circle or out of circle, but I'd kind of like to get to know her better anyway, and I personally have some hard choices I've just made that I'm still struggling with ...

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity
*runs and looks at Witch calendar* November is also associated with Hecate. Hecate is the goddess of the Mist (AKA illusion, glamour, etc.) and magick, making her a very popular goddess among Witches, but she is also the goddess of the crossroads. Any three-way crossroads (or four-way, which is coun...
