Re: Patronus and Spirit Guide?
Personally, I prefer the term spirit guide or guide for short. I would suggest looking into the symbolism of the spider and any prominent figures in mythology that fits the image of this woman. I don't recognise your angel so apologies I couldn't say something more helpful to you. I wish you luck in...

I finally had the guts to make a permanent altar...
Nice! I like how the two portions for your gods kind of pull the whole piece together.

Re: Ostara Plans?
I want to do something special being my first and also my oldest daughter's introduction to Wicca. I'm not sure what to do though. Why don't you two do something simple? Make egg shaped candles or plants using actual eggs? Bake offerings for your altar like traditional honeycakes or flower cookies?...

Re: Do I need a pentagram?
There is no right or wrong, only what feels right for you. Every path is very personal and every individual has their own way of going about things. A pentagram is never required. It looks nice and can be empowering or enhance something if you believe it. Not every person looks at the pentagram the ...

Re: Body art and Tattoo's
I'm former military and have to respectfully disagree on some points made. Tattoos are very much a social stigma and some turn their noses up at tattoos despite them existing in cultures around the world for centuries. A lot of cultures use tattoos to tell a story of their exploits and scare off the...

Re: Justice for a friend.
When you spoke of legal, the first goddess to come to mind is Lady Justice. Her statue often appears in law offices as a symbol to uphold the law. She's actually a Roman goddess known as Iustitia or Justitia. She sounds like more of who you'd want to appeal to in your prayer for your friend. There a...

Thank you! I recently discovered selenite while looking for moonstone. It's such a beautiful stone with a high yielding energy. It's quickly becoming a favourite of mine after Tiger's Eye. ♡^▽^♡blue_moon wrote:What a beautiful orb!

Re: What kind of stone is my pendulum?
From what I can see in the first photo, there's a banding on the stone that eliminates quartz since that has more of a smoky quality. In my opinion, I would say that's a white agate pendulum. Agate is known to have lines or banding along the stone whereas quartz has more of a smoky quality and more ...

That's good to hear! Both about the grass clippings and him backing off. LOL Still! Be careful! It's good that you're happy with your magical boundaries. You could make spelled protection amulets for your kids to carry around as well if you should ever feel the need. Don't let this stop you from rea...

Did I Identify the Wrong God?
I believe lokavinr over on Tumblr phrases this better than I ever could: While it is true that some scholars have characterized Loki in the past as a fire, water, or air “spirit” or as a culture hero rather than a full-fledged God, there are at least as many who insist on his God status. Even the Sn...

Help with binding spell
Hi Siris Yes, we have logged most things. It goes back to 2008. I also have multiple witnesses ect. Just haven't gone down the restraining order route because well, he lives right next to us. I really need to speak to a lawyer too before I go down that route to make sure we have any legal grounds t...

Re: Spells for an *ahem* Atheist?
With spells that you find that you'd like to try, you'd have to adjust it to your needs. Exclude the gods/goddesses portion and direct your energy outwards to the world as a whole or universal energy (if you believe that). Everything would have to be adjusted to better fit you. Or you could make you...

Did I Identify the Wrong God?
Well, Loki is not a god per se. He is Jotun, which are separate from Vanir and Aesir gods. Maybe this is why things seems off to you? Furthermore, he is a trickster and can shapeshift into just about anything. So he could turn into the fictionalized Loki from Marvel, it is in the realm of possibili...

Re: Did I Identify the Wrong God?
My thoughts might be a little unusual for a witch but I believe in one pantheistic being and the gods and goddesses people identify with are pieces or aspects of that being compartmentalized to be easier for us to connect with and communicate with it. I call that being God only because I grew up in...
