Re: Talking with Dragons
I don't have anything to add, I just really like how The Enchanted Forest Chronicles were referenced. My favorite books as a kid.

"Monsters we shall be, lest monsters we become."
Feed the beast to keep it docile, but don't become enslaved to it. Its a fine line to walk, but important to keep it in mind.

Re: Making your own wand and when
For sand paper, after debarking, I suggest 80 grit, followed by 120, then 220-240.

Re: Wolf and Magpie's Altar
I have seen your carving done, they are beautiful. What tools do you use to etch into the bone like that? The wand has the entire Futhark carved into it, only that aett is visable though. As for the wood, I wish I knew. It came from my back yard which has many trees and sometimes its hard to keep tr...

Re: First time openly talking about this.
We've talked about it but Magpie isn't too comfortable with that idea. Can't say I'm 100% with it either, ontop of how sporadic they are, it doesn't seem worth the effort unless it starts occurring with more frequency.

The only thing I don't like about my path is the particular curriculum I am following. Since I am working through The Nine Doors of Midgard, which I do adore working with, there are daily requirements, like the Daily Rite of Dedication, and such, which are a bit difficult to work in at times since I...

Re: First time openly talking about this.
Well Morpheus, I suppose I'll take the red pill. With the systems I am working with and learning, I can't guarantee I will be able to follow what you are saying completely or devote the time to it completely though. Especially as I don't have a head for numbers. But I would like to see what it is yo...

Re: Spirit form
So the short answer to your question it yes, you can project in various forms if you have an affinity for those forms. Some people can do it more easily than others, some can't at all, but it depends on the person and their natural abilities.

Re: "Unnatural" materials in Witchcraft
I think it depends on what the materials are. I've often wondered how an orgonite wand would work/act. With the main component of orgonite being a two part resin epoxy as a binding agent its most certainly unnatural, yet I can't argue with the energy you can get through orgonite pyramids and the like.

Re: First time openly talking about this.
Seemed more like an accident to me, like we woke up sooner than anticipated and they had to run. But I may just be cynical. I'm just so tired of this "hit and run". If you are going to shove me full of needles and such, at least have the courtesy to let me remember completely. Even though ...

Yes it is actually. But I am fine with this the way it is. Old name but a new start type of thing I appreciate the offer though.

First time openly talking about this.
I have never really talked openly about this to anyone but my wife. I have always said I believe in aliens if asked, but it goes deeper than that, and I thought this would be a good place to openly finally, say something about it. For as long as I can remember I have been terrified of the Greys. Jus...

Re: Members' Pantheons
That is honestly a very good question. For me personally her energies feel similar to Odins, but at the same time they are both colder than the old man, cold as the void itself, and yet also more nurturing, because she is Ma Kali. Its very confusing really lol

Re: I return after a long long hiatus.
Thank you everyone! and I went by this same name then as now. Seems my old account was deleted for some reason. Also I am afraid I don't know much to say on the troth as my joining is a very recent thing. After being a heathen for so long, I just recently felt it would be important to try and reach ...
