I know offically the year starts with Samhaim however to me personally my spirit feels Winter first so I started with Yule. It just sums up the year to me. I think this is a great idea I have so many 'online' pieces that are all over the place, keeping them here in one place is a cool idea. Hiya, as with all herbs they need respect and knowledge to achieve full use from them. Sage is a wonderful herb and gives a lovely purifying scent when burnt however different types have different potency. White sage is normally burnt because it is milder. I'd warn against burning Green/Garden Sage ...

I used this recipe at Yule to make tree decorations. I found my mixture a bit wet and sloppy so added a little plain flour to dry it slightly. It worked a treat and they smell wonderful
