Re: Ra

I feel a bit intimidated as he is a very kingly god and I am afraid of offending him somehow.. This was how I originally felt about Ra, myself, and I was very reluctant to begin working with him because of it. It was actually through meditating on the sun Tarot card that I sort of began seeing anot...

Re: Ra

Welcome~ It'll be nice to have another follower of Ra to talk to on here. I rather enjoy worshipping him, even if he can be particular about what he wants at times. When he first revealed himself to me, he sent me to the grocery store at 2 am to get a certain tea (that they didn't even have). I've f...

Re: Flameless Cleansing?

Salt water is a good method, you can also use water infused with cleansing herbs, just sprinkling salt (or herbs - or barley is what the ancient Greeks used, lots of methods like that from different cultures). You can use a broom to symbolically sweep anything impure out. You can bless water by lea...

You could also do the sage-burning method mentally, rather than physically carrying it out.
Thank you so much! You really did just help a lot. I'll try using that until I get my own place.

Flameless Cleansing?

Ok, so after performing a banishment ritual, finishing with a smudging, the white sage kicked out A LOT more smoke than usual. So much so it set off the smoke alarm and woke my parents. Now my mom has ordered that I can't burn anything even though I told her it was a one time thing. Obviously I don'...

Re: What should I do?

I agree with Xiao. You may want to file a complain to HR. However, given what you have said, you may want to start looking for another job. Whenever I need a new job I always look for one and don't turn in my two weeks until AFTER it is confirmed and official that I have been hired with another comp...

Has this ever happened to anyone?

I did a past life reading for myself (a spread I did myself) and focused on my past life in Ancient Egypt. I made a discovery and found that I had relations with someone. I wanted to learn more so I did another to clarify, asking Ra to help me. I could make out a little of some of the cards but ther...

Re: Mr. Loki, you sure do have a following on here

On a lighter note, I wouldn't mind binding myself to Tom Hiddleson... Agreed! And that man is like the nicest man on the planet! Onto the topic at hand. I haven't interacted with Loki (although Thoth is actually a trickster...which I didn't know until recently. xD ) but I would imagine that he coul...

Re: Trouble with opening self/getting rid of doubt

I can understand this completely. Often I still have thoughts of doubt. For most of my life I did not have any kind of spirituality and was very cynical on all spiritual assets. When this kind of thing is not widely accepted and just seems so unreal and hard to believe when there doesn't seem to be ...

Re: Samhain this year

Actually since I've only just recently converted, this will be my first Samhain. Although I know that I will be doing a banishment ritual with a friend of mine. It's a waning moon that night so it will be the best time. It'll also be my first ritual like this too. I'm excited but also a bit nervous.

Re: Miscarriage

I cannot even begin to fathom what it would be like to lose your own flesh and blood before they ever even had the chance to live. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that your child's next life will be one filled with opportunity and love. Also, the medical staff you are describing is appalling. I ...

Re: Border-line Anorexia

I can't say if what I am experiencing is actual anorexia but due to recent issues in my life (and constant battles with self esteem and my weight) I began falling into the pattern of not eating over the past few months. Quite a few times in the past I had considered going anorexic but the few times ...
