Re: Your age group?
I am 61. The poll/question should perhaps be edited to more age choices. Or maybe someone could start a new thread. I got online later in life in 2004 when my daughter started school and I had some free time as a SAHM. The paganism was on pilot light because wanted to spend lots of time with her. H...

Re: Older pagans.
I am 66 and even though I describe myself sometimes as a cranky old lady, I do not consider myself a senior. I am still working, and I take care of my 89 year old aunt who is a senior. I do take advantage of the senior discounts though, and those vary from age 55 to 60. :) I agree with Firebird that...

Re: Why is there evil in the world?
My problem with this question "Why is there evil in the world" is that every society has a different definition of evil. In our society we would consider it evil to kill a baby because it is female, but there have been societies where that was acceptable. If you follow one religion, evil i...

Re: Trying to make a difference in the world
I think if you help one person you have made a difference. If you can help one homeless person get a home and keep it that is a big accomplishement. As for politics, that change needs to be systemic and there are a lot of organizations working on that, so maybe you could join a group that resonates ...

Re: Who are you, and why are you here?
Hello, I have read a lot of the posts in this thread. It has made me feel old. I was exploring magick and stones and other things in the 80's, which seems to be before some of you were born. I was raised in an extended family that was mostly southern baptist so I got a good understanding about how i...

Re: Dowsing with rods
The only experiences I have had with dowsing is watching my uncle's friend dowse with copper rods to find a burried water spigot after it had been unused for several years. He found it in just a few minutes walking around. My uncle dug it up and fixed it so he could use it. Next when my kids were li...

Re: Forgotten Memories
I think a hypnotist might be your best option, I've heard they can help with all kinds of lost memories. Maybe acupuncture? They help with lots of issues too. I write notes in a certain book when I'm having de ja vu kinds of memories, but I have a horrible memory overall and wish short term memorie...

My opinion is that you should have said something. It was rude of him to park where he did and then even more rude to ignore the announcment that he must move his car.

Re: Banishing an evil entity
@pixi banishing only works if you insist and know that you are the ruler of your body, your mind and your life. If you have any doubts or fear, then the banishing will only be temporary. Be strong, you are strong, you are the one with the body and that is what most entities want, you are the only on...

Re: Why do you use divination?
I don't use divination tools to discern the future & prefer remote viewing. I'm a total dunce at Tarot reading. Instead I've used crystal gazing to change consciousness & "view" past-life influences & to receive dream-like instructions & other lessons. It works as a substi...

Re: Greetings, new to this forum
Thank you for the greeting @supermz The year I joined the army was the year they integrated (or tried) the women's army corps into the regular army. We still did not get basic with the men back then, they had two failed attempts at that until the late 90's when they decided if they were sending wome...

Re: Dream Interpretation
oops ok. I guess only as far as Az? To me monsoon always seemed tropical, but that's what my aunt in AZ called them. BB, F. According to my 77 year old friend, who grew up in California and Idaho, was taught that monsoon meant rainy season, so it is an older misuse or change of the meaning of a wor...

Re: Is Astral Projecting Dangerous?
I read Out On A Limb in the 80's. I don't remember much about it or what I thought at the time, just the description of her in the hot spring and then going to the cabin and sleeping naked with one wool blanket to stay warm. I do remember something about a silver chord keeping us in our bodies. :) I...
