Re: Bound BoS Idea

Wow it looks like your BoS is much longer than mine. I started pretty simple with just a bound college notebook that has a strap to secure it. Not sure that it even has more than 300 pages in it, and my writing topics are sort of all mixed together (which is why i thought of the table of contents). ...

Re: Bound BoS Idea

Wow you put a lot of thought into the planning process for yours! I’m somewhat new to all of this so it was much more difficult for me to judge how long each topic would be or even the order of topics! It sounds like you are putting an awesome amount of effort in though and I bet it is fantastic! Th...

Re: BlueSpell's Altar Stone

Excellent idea! I found some selenite carved as moons on etsy I’m considering! I’ll have to see what feels right! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Bound BoS Idea

Hey everyone! As a relatively new practitioner I've been looking through this section to get some ideas and inspiration for my own practice. I love a lot of the BoS ideas I've seen here and some of you have amazingly artistic spells and physical books. While reading this, I realize that I'd started ...

Re: BlueSpell's Altar Stone

Thanks! I actually just scraped it with a metal file by hand, following some patterns i drew on with chalk. In the future i may neaten it up with a dremel and add a few more sigils around the edges. Didn’t want to make it too complex/busy though because i love the stone’s patterns. I don’t have many...

Re: BlueSpell's Altar Stone

Oh that’s a great idea! I looked into it further and selenite seems like a fantastic representation. Thanks for the tip! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

BlueSpell's Altar Stone

Hey everyone! I don't actually have an altar but I created this altar stone that I use in my practice. I like to make things by hand if possible as I feel more connected to things. This stone has been very useful for me because in the moonlight the interesting patterns in the rock shift if you conce...

Thank you both for the warm welcome! I appreciate the advice, Silas! Those are some great points to consider and add to my original thinking on the topics. Always good to get additional insights and points of view on these things to help figure it all out!

Re: Getting Started

I just wanted to say thank you for this informative post! As a new practitioner, I was shocked to discover how much of this I was already doing just naturally because it felt right. I have already taken some notes and I'll be coming back here to pour over this even more thoroughly. I love getting ne...

BlueSpell Intro

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for approving me for the site. I’ve been lurking around the pages for a while now and was really interested in connecting with others. I’ve only spoken with one other person who shared my beliefs and am interested in learning more. Since I’ve never had a chance to spea...
