Re: What are some of the issues that Pagans face?

I can't help but see a loose theme...It would appear that (as Siona has mentioned) "community" is a consistent struggle.

This begs the question, how do you deal with it?

What are some of the issues that Pagans face?

Hello all, it's been a minute! :) I am continuing my studies and a question came to mind... What kind of issues do Pagans face? Naturally everyone has problems that life will throw at you. Bills need to be paid, car needs to be fixed, personal or the health of a loved one, relationships, etc... But ...

Re: "Unnatural" materials in Witchcraft

Fascinating responses, thank-you for your thoughts! Another question...Where is the line drawn? Sure, natural materials like flora and fallen plants is easy to see as connected to nature. And synthesized plastics are made via a mix of petroleum and other means that are made in a lab rather than the ...

"Unnatural" materials in Witchcraft

A question for you magick users out there... Do "unnatural" components affect your spell's, rituals, etc? For example, if I made a wand with epoxy/plastic components would that work against whatever you are trying to accomplish in a spell/ritual? I noticed that many candles are made from a...

Re: Atheist/Agnostic Wiccan

Hmm, I suppose in a nutshell I would say that I don't believe in gods or magick but I allow myself to be pleasantly surprised if something rolls along. I do pick up philosophies here and there, I am sure I will learn some interesting perspectives here too. I believe we all have a soul whether it is ...

Re: How does magick feel to you?

Huh, it seems that everyone has different sensations while casting magick but for certain the most consistent feeling is being drained afterwards. Is that because you draw energy from inside of you then expel it via the spell?

Re: Wand making as a non-practitioner of Magick

@Mystie: Thanks for the thoughts! I want to sell handsome wands for a fair price.

I would love to see your wand...But the link doesn't work! Do you think you could re upload it? :)

Re: Atheist/Agnostic Wiccan

@ Bychan: I would say you are right! I didn't know what eclectic meant until you just mentioned it. I guess a "Stout" Atheist is adamant of no gods, witchcraft, or Magicka. An "Eclectic" Atheist is a person who maintains the meaning of the word; a person who does not believe in g...

Re: Wand making as a non-practitioner of Magick

That's another question I have...Wand mechanic.

Does carving ruin the wands? If not, how about sanding? What does copper wire do for magick? Does it flow like electricity?

My research continues! XD

Re: Atheist/Agnostic Wiccan

@Bychan Wild: I don't think "labeling" is wrong, how else can you define topics or interests? Then again, some labels are inherently harmful so I suppose you are right. But I see your point...I have known many folks who default as "atheist" because they haven't found anything tha...

Re: Atheist/Agnostic Wiccan

If it helps I am an atheist new to the forum looking to learn more about the culture and to support my gf. I think "atheism" is given a bad shake these days; it kind of labels you as refuting and denying all religious or supernatural beliefs. But here I am, learning from you guys! If I can...
