Re: Making your own wand and when

There are lots of site on the web for identifying wood, some were by leaf other's by bark. Not to hard to find. I think it is some kind of coniferous tree. An evergreen, which is quite nice. Does anyone wrap wire or stones around their wand, or add extra embellishments, or carve symbols or patterns?

Re: Phantom Loved One?

Seeing as the accounts listed here have all been when you've both been in bed/sleeping/exhausted, could it be that you have just been in the hallucinatory state between waking and sleeping, and perhaps subconsciously thinking of your partners?

Re: Broken crystal wand

Great idea!
I have some silver plated copper wire, but think the silver would block the charge from flowing, seeing as the copper would not be in direct contact with the crystal?
Thanks for the pic!

Re: Moonlight and Water

Good morning, MamaMagpie.

Yes, I cleanse crystals in running water and in moonlight too.
Using the water for your plants sounds like a great idea!

Re: Broken crystal wand

The whole wand is made of crystal. It's a hexagonal single terminated crystal approx 15 by 2cm.

Broken crystal wand

I have a quartz wand, approximately 15cm in length, that has always been a favourite and which I felt connected too. A good while back, it fell on the floor and broke in half. I was upset about this, and contemplated leaving it as two pieces, gluing back together, etc. I decided that I still wanted ...

Re: Making your own wand and when

I have been wanting to make my own wand too, so lots of helpful info here! I have a few branches from a tree that was cut down, I don't know what it was unfortunately. Is it recommended to sand/peel of the dry bark, and also, if taking off the bark and putting olive oil on, does the wood remain a bi...

Re: Tell us the story behind your username!

My name creation is not very exciting. I just thought of things in nature that I feel an affinity with: Night, and the wind. Interestingly though, in my introduction thread I was told by Lady_Lilith that the name is an epithet of one of her favourite gods, Tezcatlipoca, whom I had not heard of before.
