Re: Help with binding spell

Have you tried calling on the local authorities multiple times? When you call the police on a regular basis, it creates a history for them to fall back on in concerns of the individual. And you can then turn around and file for a restraining order with that history of paperwork. Also keep personal l...

Re: First pagan temple wants to open around Austin, Texas

I rather fear it will be met with a lot of resistance. Deep rooted Christians are not too welcoming of other religions especially paganism. Any pagan temple is sure to meet some kind of resistance because people are resistant to change and not always accepting of alternate religions. I remember hav...

Re: Am I an Eclectic Wiccan or Pagan Witch?

While you're first starting out, I recommend not immediately finding a label for yourself to fit into. If you feel the need to call yourself anything then you're pagan. Research and look into everything. It's a very personal path and maybe some day you'll find out something that'll click with you. W...

My Altars

I'm not much for clutter so this may change. I'm just excited for my new selenite orb that came in today and had to share. I dried out my roses from this year's Valentine's Day gift from the husband. Used two of them to place within that heart shaped jar on the left. The handful of tumbled stone con...

Re: Ostara Plans?

I'm planning to do a tarot reading and bake some bunny inspired bread to leave out for that day. Either bread or make deviled eggs. Nothing too big planned yet I find this holiday to be fun! It has an uplifting energy feeling to it and I just want to enjoy basking in that.

Did I Identify the Wrong God?

Hello! A bit of background: I never work with Gods or Goddesses. At times I request assurance yet I actively try not to rely on them. I acknowledge them and accept their presence. I don't worship anyone. Never felt the need to despite being drawn to a few -- which I figured was through personal inte...

Faery Ring~

It's funny you mention a faerie ring. They're usually caused by decaying organic matter, generally a tree stump. Many types of fungi have symbiotic relationships with tree roots and mushrooms are the fruiting bodies of such fungus. So, if a huge old tree was cut down, you’ll often find faerie rings....

Re: Bewildered Over Gods & Goddesses

Hi Sirius. I don't think you're alone in that experience of not having been chosen by a patron/matron deity. I haven't experienced that either (with the exception of an entity I believe to be my personal guardian), which frankly can make me feel a little left out sometimes! Then again, devotional p...

Re: Small Tantrum

With every religion, there will be naysayers. There is a wide variety of people with a vast amount of interests and set of beliefs. You can't please everyone and, unfortunately, being a pagan is a minority group. This makes it easy to target and paint in a darker picture than what it really is. It'l...

Bewildered Over Gods & Goddesses

After joining this forum, it never occurred to me to have a patron Goddess and/or God. I've always floated along and did my own thing. I have to admit, I'm solitary and prefer to research to answer my questions. This time, I'm unsure. I understand it's not a needed part to continue walking my path y...
