Re: What was your first spell or ritual?

Anyhow, the next night after the spell, I dreamed that the spell came back in the mail, in a box. The "postman" told me that she was required to experience the temporary difficulty, and she had refused the healing. Oh. Wow, what an experience! I suppose this was some sort of life lesson tha...

What was your first spell or ritual?

What was the first spell or ritual you ever completed? How old were you? What was the outcome? I remember one of the first ones I did was a spell for weight loss involving a potato. I think about it and chuckle now because I can't believe I thought I was fat back then  . I was only 14 or 15 I...

Re: My mother sucks me dry

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. It sounds like an exhausting and toxic situation. I'm glad to hear that sometimes you just turn off your cellphone to avoid her...this is one of the downsides to always being plugged in to technology, is that you are reachable 24/7! I hope you are able ...

Re: Doubting myself

If people are telling you that your beliefs are childish, actually they are the ones being childish. Learning to let those things roll off of you takes practice, its not ingrained in a lot of people. Especially people who are shy or were raised to not be as confident as they could be (like myself). ...

Adrenal Fatigue/Exhaustion

Hi Everyone, I hope this is an acceptable place to post this, as I couldn't find a separate health forum. Does anyone here have experience with treating and overcoming their own adrenal fatigue? I have yet to be diagnosed. I'm looking for a naturopath in my town but the good ones all have waiting li...

Re: My mother sucks me dry

MysticDreamFaerie, I certainly feel you. It's interesting how when we are growing up, we live in a little bubble where we think our life is the "norm" because we haven't yet experienced the world. Then we grow up and either realize that our family isn't that bad (like my hubby's), or that our family...

Re: How to punish/curse someone who hurt a loved one?

Hi Jazzwest, I agree with everything else that has already been said. It's a hard pill to swallow sometimes, but cursing someone else will not accomplish anything. Revenge isn't always so sweet. It will never take away the pain of what your loved one experienced. If you don't even know these people,...

Re: Today I am Grateful For...

Today I am grateful that my puppy is feeling better. Her antibiotics have kicked in finally. I'm grateful for coffee (thank god), for enough money to buy healthy food for myself and my husband and my fur family, for that cherry tree outside that gave me a ton of fruit, that everything in my life is ...

Re: How to Become Spiritually Alive Again

Since Wicca and Paganism in general has caught my attention, I would like to know of any spiritual activities I can practice that don't involve direct contact with the God or the Goddess. Maybe by developing more spiritually I can eventually connect with them if they do exist. There are lots of spi...

Re: Tips on Astral Projection?

I've had some luck when sleeping in on weekends. I'm one of those people that, on a Saturday morning, will wake up at my usual time and then I have to make a conscious decision to either fall back asleep again, or stay awake. If you've ever slept in and you get to that point where you're really grog...

Re: Helping Two Cats to Get Along

You hit the nail on the head with tortitude. I have several calico and torties. It's apparently something genetic in the coloring. Every calico and tortie that I have ever had, over a 22 year span, has major cattitude. Twilight is currently my Queen of Cattitude. You will probably have to run inter...

Re: Helping Two Cats to Get Along

Thanks everyone for your replies. Also, yes to two separate feeding stations, two separate litter boxes, and different snooze corners. We have had Missy for 6 months now so I am hoping that things will continue to improve, as it does seem that they do like the company of each other - sometimes. Than...
