I agree! I was thinking about the elements the other day. But I didn't understand why I couldn't identify with just one. I think you explained it perfectly! :)

Re: Oracle VS. Tarot

What do you mean by making an exception? Were you not going to buy it? :p Oh yes, I will get it as soon as it's released (I hope I do!) I don't think I'll look for spreads though, I like the simplicity of no spreads and I think they're still going to provide plenty of information regardless of wheth...

Re: Oracle VS. Tarot

Ohh, that sounds nice! I've always assumed oracles had spreads as well. I haven't found one that I particularly liked or connected with yet (I haven't looked hard enough to be honest) but I'm waiting for the release of the Dreamdance Oracle by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. The artist who did the Shadowscap...

Re: Elcida's cook - book :)

I'm very glad you like it :) Greek and Bulgarian kitchen are quite similar and you can't really tell which meal came from Bulgaria or Greece first. The same with Serbia, Macedonia and the other Balkan countries. There are some foods that originated in the particular country like the feta cheese in ...

Speaking of which, Mitchatron, you might want to check this website: http://www.cafeastrology.com It has loads of useful information. :) I just got a natal chart from that site and wow! Lots of Goodies! :) Thanks for sharing. You're welcome! Try exploring the site more, it has a lot of things that ...

Re: Favorite Spreads?

You can definitely adapt the Lover's Cup spread for tarot! I think most rune spreads are based off of tarot spreads, anyways. I'm actually starting to think that larger spreads (like Lover's Cup, which is 9 runes) probably doesn't work as well for runes. There are only 24 runes in the Elder Futhark...

Oracle VS. Tarot

For those of you who do both, or either, I just wanted to ask how would you go about interpreting Oracle readings?

I only did tarot, but I am interested in starting Oracle or at least look into it, but I have absolutely no idea about it's spreads etc.

Help?

Re: Iced Honey Milk

I've seen this recipe before. :) This is one of the recipes my high priestess had in the coven BOS. She called it fairy milk. :fairy: I've never had it served over ice. I'll have to try it that way some time. :) Same here, I've only tried the heated one, but in the version I make, I add a bit of po...

You've got great recipes Yana! :) I'm so glad you've put the Banitsa, I've been meaning to look for it (along wight he bougatsa if I remember correctly, but that's like the greek equivalent hehe) but here you have posted one! Saves me time haha. Thanks so much! I also want to try the Kyufteta, looks...

Re: Favorite Spreads?

What a great thread! I love reading about new spreads. Here are some of mine (keep in mind I use runic divination): Ahh, yes I know you use the runes! I was wondering though, would it be possible to use tarot instead? I think I can but are those specific to the runes only? I especially like the Lov...

I'm still waiting for the Tyldwick Tarot, I hope it reaches me safely because now I'm getting worried. But yes, if there's one that I absolutely recommend then it's definitely the Shadowscapes! I love it so much and so far it's what I found out to be the most accurate (or maybe it just likes me bac...

Favorite Spreads?

I just wanted to know what's everyone's favorite spreads when it comes to reading? :) Whether it's Tarot, Oracle or any other form of divination, feel free to share! To be honest, I'm overwhelmed by the number of spreads out there which is why I'm asking. That and I want to try something other than ...

Re: Which tarot deck do you like?

Ooh thanks for bringing up this topic again! I'm currently on a deck buying spree lmao. There aren't many that I like (five only). They're Shadowscapes, Paulina, Joie de Vivre, Steampunk, and a beautiful self published deck called The Tyldwick. What spread is that, lilgeekess? I remember I've seen ...

Re: Whats the story behind your username?

Ah, after reading everyone's posts I wish I had been more careful when choosing my name. Well I've always loved roses and if my real life name's number hadn't naturally matched my birth number (in numerology), I would want to be named Rosé (yes the way you'd pronounce and spell that wine haha), but...
