Recurring element in my dreams / thoughts

I usually meditate right before I go to sleep, I've never had very good dreams so it's my way of calming myself down and preparing myself to sleep.

Lately, I keep dreaming/meditating/thinking of a man. He's tall, dark haired, wears a black and red robe, not necessarily "handsome" in any striking way and he's always standing with a green dragon. (I like to dream of dragons, they calm me)

I know it sounds odd, but I feel like I should know who he is. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
