What are your favorite kitchen attributes?
Are they sanctified instruments, or mere tools....

Re: What are your favorite kitchen attributes?
If I'm cooking and it comes out edible, it's a full blown miracle of divine intervention. And therefore implies sanctified vessels.
Kidding aside, there is a flowing sense of sacredness when practicing with intent. When my circle is cast, whatever is within it is included in that sacred flow. Otherwise, pots & pans & utensils are just tools we use for a sacred purpose. To me it's the force that flows through me which is sacred in and of itself.
Stirring slowly while chanting aids concentration on a brew, and any spoon serves but I'll usually grab the wooden spoon because it's hefty & feels good in my hand.
I have wooden, ceramic and stone Mortar & Pestle sets. I find the energetic intent when grinding or combining contents is lightly trance inducing when chanting along.
