The Moon in chatty Gemini makes a flowing connection to Mars in Libra. Mars is in the last degrees of Libra now after almost 8 months. By now we should be very aware of how we have related in the past that did not work and how better to relate in the present. Today we can talk about what we learned, maybe even make an effort to write it down. We are in a new paradigm where we are creating our world in the moment for the future. Create well!

The Moon in Cancer connects with both Neptune and Pluto giving us access to higher realms of consciousness. Today is a very energetic day as the Sun conjoins Jupiter in Leo, this creates a lot of heat, so be aware. We are planting a new seed of creativity today. There is also a stressful square between Mercury and Uranus. Both are mental energies and this crisis in action square requires us to take action to build structures within our mental body to hold the new inspirations we receive. The Moon in Cancer is challenged today by Uranus in Aries. We are feeling a little resistant to stepping out of the box today, it feels too unstable for our sensitive emotions to handle, yet there is support for 'getting out there if we can summon the courage. Mars, the planet of forward movement slips into Scorpio after 8 LONG months in Libra. There is a sharpness to Mars in Scorpio, best we use it to excise that which no longer serves our evolution, than to use it against anyone.

Today is the New Moon in Leo. Leo is the sign of creative self-expression, fun, generosity and drama! We are planting new seeds of creativity and today is a great day to start a new creative project. Jupiter the planet of expansion is conjoined to the Sun/Moon and imbues this new Moon with optimism and flair. Mars is square this New Moon driving us to create in a different way. Avoid unnecessary drama and allow the generosity of heart that is Leo to fill your life.

There is a New Moon in Leo on Saturday, July 26th at 6:42 PM EDT. A New Moon signals a time of beginnings. What kind of beginning is determined by the sign of the New Moon, and how it may manifest, is determined by the interrelationships between the New Moon and the other planets in the chart. Leo is the sign of creative self-expression, leadership, generosity, fun, luck, children and drama. Ruled by the Sun, there is a sense of being at the center of your creative universe.

Today's New Moon occurs in 4 degrees of Leo and is in a close conjunction to Jupiter in Leo at 3 degrees. Jupiter just moved into the sign of the Lion back on July 16th after a year long journey through Cancer. Jupiter always makes things bigger, so this New Moon is a big deal. There is also a square to Mars in Scorpio to this New Moon. Mars has just moved into Scorpio yesterday, July 25th, after 8 LONG months in Libra. Mars prefers to act instinctually, without forethought, but in Libra Mars was forced to act in a considered manner. So that now that Mars is out of Libra and has moved into a sign in really enjoys being in, (Mars was the classical ruler of Scorpio before the discovery of Pluto) to say Mars is raring to go is an understatement. The geometrical relationship between Mars and the New Moon is an applying square, there is a lot of energy to do things differently in an attempt to escape the ghosts of the past. We can sense this in world events, as actions taken that were once accepted as reasonable , strike us as archaic and unnecessary.

This can also be seen in Venus' opposition to Pluto in this chart. Awareness around how those in power, Pluto in Capricorn, treat women and children (Venus in Cancer). As well as Uranus inconjunct Saturn which requires emotional adjustments to be made to make room for progressive thoughts, as the old rules of separation make room for the New Paradigm.

In the world at large we will see both the positive and negative expressions of these aspects. We can see leaders drunk with a sense of their own self-importance make power grabs, creating much havoc and suffering. We could also see people standing up against tyranny, while others simply doing their best to connect with a sense of inner love.

Finding what brings you joy is one of the most powerful things we can do as individuals during this New Moon. As Leo is the sign of children, we can connect with the inner child within us. Come to love and nurture that child. In doing so we come to accept ourselves, and as a result of self acceptance we accept others. This is the path to wholeness, peace and true leadership based on Love.

When we look at the world around us, embroiled in all manner of suffering, it can be difficult to access joy, yet that is the key to the kingdom. If we can turn our backs on those things that separate us, and turn our heart to that which unites us, we can make huge changes in our world, one act of joy at at time!

The Moon in Leo, coming off that very energetic New Moon with a conjunction to Jupiter and a square to Mars, does it's level best to express itself today. However, we may come up against forces greater than ourselves that cause frustration. There is support of self expression, yet it won't come without it's problems. We are really questioning whether those in charge really know what they are doing. The most powerful thing we can do, is meet everyone with love in our heart, yet not assume everyone has our best interest at heart. It's a tenuous balance, yet love will light the way, it just takes discernment!

The Moon continues it's journey through self-expressive Leo. We are in the mood to be seen & heard today. An opposition between Venus in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn brings us to an awareness of just how emotionally self reliant we can be. Through 2014 we have had to access what was essential to us, how we felt about ourselves and where our power lies. Today it becomes very obvious to us as we are challenged by things outside of our control. True power lies within and self acceptance is the core of that power.

The Moon in perfecting Virgo, gives us the proclivity to deal with details, This comes in quite handy as the last few days have been an exercise in getting our creative juices flowing. Without Virgo, many of our best creations would never get off the drawing board. A very good day to work smarter, no harder. Organize, make adjustments and be willing to humble yourself on the journey of self expression.

The Moon in Virgo continues to deal with the details of life. There is some sense that we aren't working fast enough, yet slow steady progress is the way to go. There is a vague sense of unease today, as Neptune makes a waning inconjunct to The Sun in Leo. We can be frustrated by the inability of those in places of power to be willing to swallow their pride and work for the greater good of humanity. The old guard is on it's way out, yet they won't go out without a fight. Remain focused on what you want to create in your life, instead of what you don't want. Co-creation is always a factor, so create the world you wish to live in.

The Moon in Libra is challenged today. Libra likes peace, yet today is anything but peaceful. Venus, the ruler of Libra is challenged today as we feel the need to move forward on our new ideas, despite feeling quite insecure about it all. There is support to move forward, so don't let fear get in the way. We are also driven to take action around our beliefs. If we stay centered in our hearts we will find ourselves on the other side of those things that challenge us. We are growing, and with growth, comes growing pains. Yet forward is the only direction we can move in.

The Moon in Libra can foster a sense of fairness within us, and/or a sense of extremism, In fact we may find ourselves flip flopping between those two feelings. Yesterday was a challenging day for the peace loving Moon in Libra and today promises to be just as challenging as Mercury the planet of the Mind in Leo squares Mars the planet of action in Scorpio. Both Leo and Scorpio are fixed signs and can stubbornly hold on to their positions. This does not bode well for those caught in the crossfire. If we can find ways to utilize this energy in a constructive way instead of getting caught up in our own ways of thinking and doing we can make this load of lemons into some lemonade!

An early morning conjunction to the Moon in Scorpio by Saturn in Scorpio, starts the day off on a somber note. Yet if we realize the reality of our situation and work both harder and smarter we may find ourselves reaping the rewards of our hard work by mid afternoon. As important as vision and inspiration is, without a bit of perspiration nothing really happens, So pull out those 80's sweat bands and get to work.
