rock music

I have to say, I basically won't listen to anything but loud rock music. But I do like most of the solo-violinist stuff as well, so I'm not a total metal-head.
But like I said before - I love rock. I LIVE for rock. I love:
Slipknot, Murderdolls, Wednesday 13, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, ACDC, and Ice Cold Poison to name a few... (Right now I'm listening to Enter Sandman by Metallica)
But enough about me - who do you all like (this is for rock-lovers like myself, case you can't tell).

Well I was like you. I've adopted heavier music though. Such as: Death, Cannible Corpse, Children Of Bodom, Sinergy, Slayer, Quo Vadis, etc... I also listen to a little bit of Classical, Jazz, and Gothic Rock so I'm not just a metal head.

yes, i love really mosh-worthy stuff as well... i like deftones and godhead and disturbed and system of a down as well... and yay, i'm going to defrost tonight so i finally get to see the famed grant and heavens lost... finally.

I grew up in the 80's, the best era for rock music. I saw Metallica open for Ozzy in 85 or 86 when they were young. I love all the 80's "hair metal" bands, the sleazy ones the most: LA Guns, faster pussycat,

My favorite of all time though is Motley Crue. I'm in my thirties, married, with two kids and I still have naughty thoughts about Nikki Sixx.

yeah, i love old stuff too. like, recently, wednesday 13 (my all time favorite band) went touring with alice cooper and their concerts ROCKED.
my dad is big into metallica and thats how i got my love for them - when i was like, 8, i had no cds of my own so i had to listen to his.. thank god!!

I grew up in the Led Zeppelin era!

My daughter listens to these groups.. they're not so bad, I like Mudvayne, System of a down.

I used to like Metallica, but I hated everything after And Justice For All..., then they came out with St. Anger and I lost all respect for them entirely. *sigh* I wish they wouldn't have kicked out Dave, he would have never let them sell out... but that's why we have Megadeth_\m/.

OMG I love System Of A Down. I actually just learned how to play Hypnotize and Violent Pornography about an hour ago

I thought it was only me that had thoughts like that all these years latter, lol.
I agree about Metallica too, I think it all went wrong when James Hetfield cut all his hair off.
I feel old too, I love the eighties stuff from when I was growing up. Btw best concert I've ever been to was AC/DC, AWESOME!!!!

hehe, i didnt mean to make anyone feel old!! anywho, to me, old is like... 200 years old.. so nobody is really OLD to me anyway.

i love rock/metal music since i was a kid.mostly 80's bands.
some of my favourite bands are motley crue, dokken, badlands, skid row, warrant, ratt, alice in chains, motorhead, metallica, judas priest, wasp, gotthard, helloween,jake e lee, george lynch, ac/dc, whitesnake, blue murder, john sykes, poison, racer x,aerosmith,gnr,the cult,white lion, phenomena....and the list goes on
