Christianity is wrong about animals.

Discussion of Christianity and other religious systems. How can we explain our faith to Christians? How can you merge your faith in Jesus with your belief in the metaphysical?

Christianity is wrong about animals.

According to many sources, Christians everywhere think(not all of them though), Killing animals into extinction is OK, as, simply put, They don't think that animals have souls.

In my opinion, That really is rather sickening.

Blessed be,

The word "animal" comes from the word "anima" which means "soul" in Latin. So I'm guessing that the Latins and possibly Greek Christians believed that animals have souls. And these were the two main groups of people who were spreading Christianity. So it's surprised to see that some Christians don't think they have souls, especially since they were used as sacrifices to God in the old testament.

It's amazing how fast things can change...
