I understand what you are trying to do, an I don't blame you
one bit, BUT dear Lady magick will help you someone
like that will not change no matter how much you tell him you
are hurt.
Using a spell is one thing, but writing one yourself(is easy!)...
Like what was suggested you boost your self-esteem, self-image,
protection....etc. I the only thing you can really do in this case.
But please Phoebe, do not try to implement any change in his
behavior; ANYTHING you put out into the Universe comes back
to you three-fold ! Now, consider what would happen to you if
you put out something about him, the worst case scenario can
and will happen.
I tried to rescue someone whose was in this situation, I had
her away and she went right back, love ? I gave up.
If by some chance you are going to leave please...let us know
and someone you are close with to know, just in case...!
