Elements, a question

Post by Pirranth »

I was wondering why we for the most part nearly exclusively use the four element system? I know it has been used for millenia, through many philosophies, religions, sciences, and so on, but continuing doing something just because it has been done forever is not a standard trait of modern paganism, does anyone use a different system?

I've always used the five elements:
Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Spirit
The mind is a window to the universe, but for many the window is closed
Truth is unique, it seldom has meaning for anyone other than the one who speaks it.
My opinion is my own. I am willing to share it, though you are not required to accept it.
