Diabetic Neuropathy pain
Gentle People...
Hubby has diabetes and the neuropathy...now I make
him a liniment for his arthritis. I know mint can be used
as a pain relief liniment, but I don't think it'll work with
neuropathy.
Does anyone know of or have made a topical "juice"
for this...? Anything you may think of, even if it's
just a thought about what may work. The look on his
face when that occurs, I just have to find something.
So, Gentle People, let me hear your ideas, please ?

And drink a valerian root tea if he can tolerate the funk. Haha. It's rough but man it works wonders for me. I have a few pain/ spasm issues.

Re: Diabetic Neuropathy pain
I also have neuropathy. I use a frankincense and myrrh oil blend in olive oil to rub on my feet. I bought it off Amazon so do not know the formula, but it smells great and works somewhat.
The only herbal product I've found to work well is NoxiCare in both cream and capsules. The label lists alpha lipoid acid as an anti occidental, and anti inflammatory herbs of holy basil, boswellia, turmeric, white willow and ginger, and rosemary as an analgesic.

My MD prescribed gabapentin for pain which works fairly well & I take so I can mow the lawn or get groceries. It takes about an hour to kick in & causes drowsiness. I've also been given duluxetine which makes me yawn widely so I take it at night. Neither are opiates.

I bought lidocaine cream from Amazon that helps with my sciatica. It's Lidocaine Plus, distributed by Son shine Enterprises.
