Different Sage types

Post by frostarei »

I was wondering if there is an actual magical property difference between gray sage and white sage. I picked up a small bushel of white sage from the pow wow and I asked the clerk if there was any difference between the two, hoping that if she were selling it, she might be able to give me at least some under the table response, but she gave me the generic I am a store clerk response and that response was the obvious "looks." Up until that point I hadn't known there were different types of Sage so I just went with the white as it looked like it wouldn't fall apart as fast.

Any thoughts?

Euhm, well as far as I know the Native Americans used grey sage where the romans used white sage. It is supposed to have healing qualities but the grey one is supposed to be more effective at healing certain things than the white one is.
I preffer using white myself.

Be sure to charge after!
