Hi guys,
Looking for a deck of oracle cards that are good for determining a person or being's role/archetype. Any suggestions?

Spirit Guide Dream Advice?
So I had a dream, and once again, I'm not sure if it's just brain ramblings, or perhaps an actual vision. Heard a male voice say, "One of these creatures will be your spirit guide" or something to that effect. I was looking a brilliant blue-yellow sky, slowing fading into dusk. I slowly st...

Re: What are your (animal) spirit guides?
Cool! I didn't know they were in Japanese mythos. Not really sure if I want them to eat my nightmares, though. I'm kind of fond of them (I like the horror genre).
Curious, what do mean by not developed? Is it still learning to be a spirit guide?

Re: What are your (animal) spirit guides?
I'm actually glad this topic was posted. I tried contacting my spirit guide/animal and got really confused. It was a tapir - which initially made me happy because I was hoping my spirit guide would be somewhat different- but it was just a baby, curled up on top of a mountain. Some people say that th...

Oracle Card Recommendations
I have a tough time with oracle cards because they are overwhelmingly positive. Most of them have nice affirmations but don't give me any hard truths on how to look at a situation/improve myself/warn me about something. I had some decent readings with the Druid Oracle, but that's pretty much it. Any...

Crazy-Awesome Tarot Experience
Not sure if this belongs in the past lives thread, but I got one of those awesome tarot "the cards are TALKING to you" moments. It could be a coincidence - but it would be awesome if it isn't :D A couple of months ago, I did a past life reading to see if my weird fear of people was tied to...

Re: How do you shuffle your tarot cards?
I put them in two decks, flip them against each other...then spread them in a big pile and just go to whatever cards feels right to me. Yeah. Not the most professional shuffle!

Re: Past life experiences
I'm trying to do some past life digging. Personally, my visualization is confusing, at best. I've gotten some very strong messages from tarot, though. How do you experience your past lives? Hypnosis? Dreams? A sense of deja vu?

Re: Alcoholic Family Member - So Much for a vacation
Just wanted to thank everyone for all the kind responses and helpful advice. I ended up going on the vacation, but they were on their best behavior. No major drinking. They still struggle with it, even after we returned home, but I've started seeing a therapist. I'm trying to figure out how to move ...

Alcoholic Family Member - So Much for a vacation
A family member of mine is drinking -again. I'm thoroughly tired of making sure they don't fall down the stairs or drive the car. I've lost most of my sympathy and love for this person I used to respect. Now I'm going on vacation with them, out of state, for a week. I honestly just want to cancel my...

Justice vs Judgement
Quick question - what is the difference between the Justice card and the Judgement card? I always get those two confused.

Re: Can a stone call to a person?
Heck yes! I find that's the best way to pick a stone for what you need - pick the stone that calls to you first, then learn the meaning later. You'll be surprised how much the meaning fits your needs.
That's how I am with sodalite. There's some blue lace agate I just bought that felt promising, too.

Weird Bruises and Scratches
Not sure if this connected to something, but I've gotten a weird scratch - like from a cat's claw - on my leg, and now I have a bruise on my upper thigh. Don't remember banging into anything, cutting my leg with a razor, or petting a particularly aggressive cat. Thoughts?

Re: Your Fave Deck/Spread and Why
My favorite deck is the Steampunk Tarot by Barbara Moore and Aly Fell. All the cards have a beautiful, warm feeling to them. In particular, I like that the Death card isn't a freaky-looking skeleton; it's a man kneeling before a grave as a woman on a pale horse rides into the foreground. Death, leav...

Re: Have You Had a Doppelganger Dream?
It's definitely possible, although the location looked similar to the Myst games I was playing (if Myst is an alternate dimension, I'd be very, very happy!) Why do you think it was an alternate dimension, SnowCat? Have you had a dream in a alternate dimension before?
