I have a small note book, as well as an electronic BOS. My electronic BOS is saved on both hard drive and CD. My note book BOS only has basic things that I may need to refer to if I am on the go and don't have my laptop, such as correspondences, simple spells that don't need too many tools etc.

I totally agree that a spell doesn't have to rhyme well, or at all as a matter of fact. I have a few in my BOS that work very well each time but they don't rhyme.....as long as your intent is clearly stated and it works, it doesn't matter if it rhymes or not. Also don't be afraid to take inspiration...
