As long as your praise of God and Goddess is honest and sincere, they will hear you regardless of what you have with you.

Ask the Lord and Lady to make their eyes uncovered when next who are at ritual. If the are snared in something, this should clear it up. If not, well take pride in that you snagged two guys at once, be nice in letting them down and set your sights somewhere (someone) else.
