No, it's in the same town, just out in the country a bit.

Always the best move to make . Same area, but much much nicer place.
We went from a trailor park to out here in this old cow pasture, lol. And of course eventually built a house. Best way to be is in the country... even though I gain a neighbo every other year now .

Just wanted to throw out that Jehovah's Witnesses are not 'Christain' in the main stream definition of the word. They seem to have all the same cards on the table as main stream Christain denominations but they have key differences in their beliefs.

When I see a Jehovah's Witnesse on the street, I turn and go the other way, just am not interested... cept for this one time when I ran across one, and she was very fine....still....she was....well, weird is a harsh word...
but, eh...it has the merit of being true.

I don't think "weird" is a harsh word. I use it to describe myself all the time.

Wow this has been here a long time and the last post was back in August... But I just had to say that The Jehovah's Witnesses come to my door probably once a year and I just smile and say thank you and take their magazines. They always say they will be back in a week to discuss the magazines and I say OK then... But, they never come back... Not that I want them to but they say every time they will be back and I hear nothing from them until the next year. Pretty weird...

The Witnesses came to our house recently. Two middle-aged black fellows in a pink Lincoln (I shit you not). I'm not sure if it was being waaay out in the Kentucky backwoods, our chow-mix dog, my 225 lbs of scary-looking whiteness, or the fact that I answered the door in a death metal T-shirt, but they said a quick "how are you", handed me their literature, and high-tailed it out! I swear, it wasn't deliberate.

I'd like to point out that I've seen that chow/mix dog. NIce she may be but she looks like she could chew the tire off of your dodge truck if given half a chance.

We had a huge Jehova's witness convention in Cardiff about a month back. That was quite scary. Thoug me and my girlfriend just walked through them all singing "the rapture's got no hold of me". That was quite fun.

Also, today a couple of young girls who did mission work gave me a flier (they asked for some money but I told them that I had £10 in my wallet and none in the bank, so they thought it was alright (this was true by the way)). It was really strange, the flier looked like it could have been written by a bunch of radical anarchists/socialists (like the ones I hang out with), except at the end it says, basically, "everything is f*cked up, but it's ok because some day god will strike down the bad people. All you need to do is accept jesus, then sit back and everything will be fine".

Christians are wierd.
