One of my favorite symbols are snowflakes. Generic I know, but each snowflake is different. I'm trying to think of symbols for rebirth so give me a few and I will find some.

I love the Sun symbol, and oranges, like small sun's you can eat! LoL
One of my favorite things to do is stick cloves in an orange, you can make your other favorite pagan symbols on the surface of the orange with the cloves and it smells so good!

Snowflakes are something I don't usually get to see, but another aspect of the season I really like is the bare naked trees.

I agree. They are very beautiful. My dad doesn't like the bare trees, but I do.

One of my favorite things to do in the winter is read the shadows cast upon the ground in the moonlight by the bare naked branches. Rune readings abound! As wells shapes and figures as in 'pareidolia'. viewtopic.php?t=39478
Depending on what you discern in the shadows, they may offer insight or help on any current issues.

I've never thought of that. I sometimes see things in stone. I will have to try that soon.

It looks like nobody but you and I are participating Firebird. I guess we are going to have to come up with a ritual this time.

I don't know what kind of a ritual you're looking for so I'll throw out some symbols.

Symbols for the season: holly, spruce branches, candles, lights, tree, fireplace, comfy clothes, poinsettia, gingerbread house, wreaths and garlands.

Food: hot chocolate, eggnog, shortbread cookies, gingerbread cookies, box of chocolates, mixed nuts and hot apple cider.

All these things make me think a spell to evoke hygge in a portion of our life.
Many of our symbols bring about comfort, so maybe bringing it all together in concoction of these things to help unwind, reflect, relax and just be in the moment.
Let's stir a bit more....

How about relaxing with a tarot reading for the coming year?
