Ive used a $4 UV flash light on stones, and yep, agates glow, ruby matrix does too - purple.

Yooper is from the letters U P for Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Folks have their colloquial phrases and way of speech ... eh-yeh?

I've only been as far as Birch Run, hitchhiked there with my boyfriend to see his parents in 1979? No...I think it was 1977, saw the band Styx at a venue in Flint, 5 bucks was the cost of that concert ticket! That was my only visit to Michigan, we stayed with his friend in Frankenmuth. I remember the forest being so densely thick in that area you couldn't walk between the trees.
