Thank you everyone.
Funerary rites will bring family from far. It will be good to see them.
Dans beautiful human envelope will be held by the earth in the town he had the "time of his life".

Thanks I appreciate everyone's warm wishes.
Dan will be burried in his Raiders jacket and with the ashes of his beautiful Labrador.
Then there was this...

a few afterwards. It's been one week since Dan was lowered into the earth,
We stood in a torrential downpour at the graveside, I recited "do not stand at my grave and weep" I wanted to change the words to "torrentially falling springtime rain" in stead of "gently falling autumn rain" but I was on autopilot and forgot...it took all that I had to not be the one standing at his grave and weeping. And then his best friend hugged me and we both cried. My aunt wished to keep the vase of orange lilies white roses and lilac I had made for the service, when I went to pick it up, I cut myself pretty well, the vase was broken in transport, I wondered what the implications of bleeding all over his tomb meant.
Here is the song that was sung and I had a terrible time finding a good rendition. It was between Andy Williams and Mario Lanza and then I chose these guys...
