So heres another favorite I made tonight for my thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.
First Grease your pan with shortening, and preheat your oven to 375°F
Slice up 4-10 of your favorite apples. Enough to fill most of your baking pan.
Sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup buttee
In a small bowl mix together brown sugar and butter. Microwave for 25 seconds, or until butter is fully melted. Stir and pour over your apples.
Topping
1 cup flour
1 cup oats
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup butter
2/4 cup ginger bread bits
Mix all this together well, it will get a bitty texture to it. Sprinkle it onto your apples evenly, make sure they're covered.
Bake at 375°F for 20-30 minutes, or until apples are tender and can be pierced with a fork.
Serve with your favorite topping and enjoy!
