Interfaith marriage

Post by Mickey P »

I've been happily married to the woman of my dreams for a few years now. We're both women, so we had to get married out of state at first because our home state of Virginia didn't recognize, accept or practice them yet. With the ruling by SCOTUS, we're now legally married everywhere in the US.

Anyway, as weird as it may sound, she claims Christianity as her religion. She isn't a hardcore Christian who thinks anyone who doesn't believe in what they believe is going to be eternally damned. Even knowing the difference in our faiths, she still loves me and I still love her.

We're going to try to raise our daughter religion neutral and let her decide when she's older, what she wants to be.

God is one. He has a lot of different faces. Each and every one of us believe in Him in own way. Your daughter's heart will let her know what's right and what's wrong. Just give her a chance.
