A Tree Doesn't Like Me

Today, I had a weird thought. It was a cool afternoon, when I was passing by some trees. I love to stare at them, they all look different but they're all united. And so, while I was happily staring, I passed one tree and immediately thought "I don't like this one". And my reaction was
I didn't know why I thought that, does anyone else know?

Blessed Be,
Arisa

Maybe the tree didn't like you.

I wondered if you knew what kind of tree it was. perhaps poison oak or ivy had blended in there...

Really? :( Because, I wouldn't know why it didn't like me. It was my first time ever seeing it!

It was a normal tree, the type of tree you see at a park.

I don't know why the tree wouldn't like you, but that the the first thing that came to my mind. Like you see someone, and you just don't like them for no apparent reason.

Perhaps it had been mistreated in the past, and it just didn't like humans, period. You might have picked up on that.

I remember, back when I was working with a coven, we went to a park to try to communicate with the trees. There was one where I got the sense of it hurting, being wounded. Then one of the other women pointed out that it had a couple of branches ripped off. Perhaps someone trying to swing on it or some kids messing around, I guess.

Moonflower...have you gone back and tried to communicate with this particular tree? I would go and examine the bark and the leaves, the critters that are living in it. Maybe lean with your back against the tree and see if it has anything to say. Then see if it can shed some light on your aversion to it. I wonder if it is a non-native or some type of invasive tree ( the "tree of heaven" is very invasive and I don't particularly care for them).

I've had the same problem before and then I've also went by another tree and felt like it had become my new best friend. I'm not sure why this happens, but I think it's normal. It might not be you or humans, maybe it's just because the tree isn't meant to be involved in your life....I don't know. I'm just sort of speculating here...

I suggest going back and communicating with it. Try giving it offerings, like fresh spring water. Let it know you mean no harm and you are sorry it feels the way it does. Many things in nature tend to have this negativity based upon abuse it has concured in some fashion. With a little TLC and attention I am sure the tree's opinion of you will change. Good Luck :)
