Heading for the hills...

Post by L.J.Hex »

The coronavirus scare is getting so crazy, I decided to head for th hills, to go to our summerhouse for a while. How long while, no idea, with luck just a week or two, if things go totally south. Longer.

I have trying to get to the bottom of this ordeal and to me it looks like its 20% disease and 80% media psyop. But the panic is real and scared people do stupid things and I certainly do not want to be on the way if hordes of crazed out iSlaves take on the streets... Read, food shortage. I don't think it'll go to that, but its better to be safe than sorry. Besides I'm long overdue from taking a break from the insanity of the world and enjoy the great outdoors. With little luck I can get some fishtraps in the lake too.

Anyway, people are starting to go nuts and this is Finland where people are normally so calm and reserved. So far only panic buying around my area, but who knows how nuts it will go. There might be lockdowns and travel bans coming up next week and I'd rather be stuck in middle of nowhere than here in the town.

At least I will have time to post here too, last months have been rather busy...

I realized I was out of potatoes and rice, hope I can find some at the store.
Wish I could join you Hex, I want to escape.
I'm supposed to go camping next week and am considering cancelling, mostly because it is supposed to pour down rain for the first 3 days.
It will be good to hear from you while you are on respite.

I've got all borders closed except for Poland.. I wonder if north Poland by the Baltic seashore has great salty air for respiration... I wonder if there is a ferry to Finland... I could join you that way at your cottage.
I'd be writing heavy metal lyrics, helping with fishing and let you drive motorcycle as recompense. :D

Anyway I don't know, perhaps patience is the solution.

Why am I not suprised you guys say you'd want to come with me. :D I had some friends toady say the same thing... I'm lucky to have such place where to run if the ground gets too hot to walk. Mostly its just about having a "vacation" of this town, I've been here most of the time since autumn and I really miss the peace and quiet. Oh and there's probably not many planes buzzing above as most flights have been suspended so its even more peaceful than usual.

Anyway, my plan is to get there and watch the show from far enough. If there's some big lockdowns or my town gets infected with either a virus or fear, I wont be stuck here with all these people. I don't think this craze will have any effect out there, the place is so rural, there's only dozen residents in closest several kilometers, even less so this time year. Safe hideout for sure. Also no need to worry about food, the only thing slowing me down is the ice as the lake is still frozen.

I will chime in here from time to time, there's quite little to do there anyway

Sapphire, drive a motorcycle? Really? :D Hahaha, I've never done that.

Safe stay and be well.

OMGosh, I used to get around on a motorbike - .35 cents to fill tank and a tankful lasted two weeks. Backseat baskets.
Wish I still had it.

Poland locked and noland to enter. City might get locked and roaming around considered a delict.

I remember how I lost a lot of weight because driving car 1 hour leaves me stressed while driving that I feel great after 5 hours, skipping meals as I drift past restaurants and markets with "nah not that important" attitude. You kind of get in touch with auras of trees that embrace the road.
Yeah 2.5l/100km and feel of burning right beneath you to empower solar plexus.

Lets see when we get all the ridiculous lockdowns and/or martial law here... If the govt decides to do that, there's gonna be army on the streets as there are not enough cops to do anything like that. Although people here are so law abiding that they will probably start watching each other or something.

About damn time to get out of town. I'm expecting more fear porn on media and some big announcements next week. This whole thing is so ridiculous, kind of stuff happening that went on last time between 1939 - 1945.

Leaving in few hours, there's some stuff to do before... I wish I could go right now.

Well roaming around and infecting elderly that have higher chance of dying from it is indeed a bad idea, especially if you disagree with the medieval style of slaying old and crippled to enhance productivity.

I find it fascinating that even if one lives in a better country, can still consider his environment retarded to such extent. Sigh, we'd need an autonomous region to fill with witches only.

Third day at the summerhouse, no people, no craziness, only the wind and wildlife and that's it. In three days I have seen two people (might be the same person.) besides my girlfriend and my dog. I saw a man riding one of those snow bikes on the lake, then today probably the same guy ice fishing about two kilometers away on the ice and besides that, no one.

Even the planes aren't flying, so fra I have counted one plane yesterday and two today. Its very peaceful here. Tomorrow's a shopping day, it will be interesting to see if the closest local shop still has food. They should from what I know. North Karelia is apparently free of any infections if the mass media isn't lying about it. It was a great idea to come over here.

Speaking about people watching each other, I'm glad I ain't home. My neighbor is a crazy lady who's favorite passtime is to watch others and cause trouble. I bet she's nuts with the corona craze and probably causing havoc even more than usual. Way nicer to stay here without the neighborhood gestapo agent causing trouble.

Still no idea how long I will stay here, at least few days more, if things go worse, few weeks. We only need some things from the shop, nilk and some food stuff but not much.

I might feel sporting tomorrow and try out if I can get a fishtrap below the ice. Some fresh fish would be awesome, last time I had some was in september.

So glad you were able to get away. Nice place to hold up. Please be careful with that springtime ice cover when you go fishing, we need our Hex!

Lol I just re-watched Bear Grylls and his urban survival episode.
Eating pigeon egg raw shell included. Hah in case shops get closed hippie statement "hunger can't kill you, only ignorance" is going to live up to its claim.

I could flee to forest cabin which is sort-of still part of the city. Now that people think forest is safe and water source pipe might be victim to clumsy water filling with people's bottle tips touching it, it might as well be hazardous to flee there where hygiene conditions and sleeping in cold could be a risk for body recovery.
On the other hand it could be used to let the body energy flourish - aura not so squeezed like in a flat. Nonetheless I'm staying in flat still since I'm obsessed with my projects here. I also like my full anti-viral arsenal at hand.

Good evening, message from a French woman to explain the situation and how dangerous this virus is if your government does not take the necessary measures. This is the case of France at 9:29 p.m. French time.

We don't have enough masks adapted to our needs, and the French government repeats over and over again that it is necessary to wear masks only if we are sick or in the presence of sick people. But here is the problem, as we are not tested because only serious cases are, the virus continues to spread despite the containment. We are heading in the direction of Italy. And yet,
World Health Organization, strongly advocates the wearing of masks for everyone and screening for everyone.

We have been presented with this disease as a simple flu. Except that's not true. Although the symptoms are similar, the only way to be 100% certain is to be tested. There are people in intensive care, lined up in hospital beds hooked up to machines. All age groups are affected. Don't believe your government if it tells you that only those over 60 are at risk. While it is true that the symptoms will be different for every person, 4 year olds have experienced respiratory distress. My intention is not to frighten you, but to explain the reality to you, because you are the next country affected.

I saw a POTUS news conference mentioning one of the over the counter drugs for malaria treatment - chloroquine - having potential for better chance of recovery so millions are on order from Bayer & other pharmaceutical companies, based on anecdotal observations as there hasn’t been time for clinical studies. The drug’s been in use 20+ years so is already studied.

The problem is that as with any medication, some people are allergic to it or will have contraindications.

I'm becoming rather depressed. I have been in the house for 2 weeks now, we'll be out of food soon, well not completely out but things like bread, milk and eggs...and I'm terrified to go to the store. My husband still goes over to his moms every couple days and they have teenagers over there and I doubt they are staying home. Ma-in-law has serious health issues, and my mother has a heart condition, I'm scared to death I'll never see her again, I wish I would have stayed there a couple weeks ago instead of coming home. Los Angeles is all closed down, it's creepy. This is like watching a train wreck in super slow-mo and you don't know if you are on the train or not.
