Shinkko's Book of Shadows/Notes

Post by Shinkko »

I have a written copy in person to stay traditional.
I invite you to post to help me along the way, this is my journey and I am new at this. The information I post are of physical books I've read.

Trees

Ancient trees feature in all cultures
To the Celts, the months of the year were attuned to the lunar cycle. Full moon to moon.
According to the month, you can increase the power of your spell by including a part of the tree.

Birch tree: December 24 to January 20
Rowan: January 21 to February 17
Ash: February 18 to March 17
Alder: March 18 to April 14
Willow: April 15 to May 12
Hawthorn: may 13 to June 9
Oak: June 10 to July 7
Holly: July 8 to August 4
Hazel: august 5 to September 1
Vine: September 2 to September 29
Ivy: September 30 to October 27
Reed: October 28 to November 24
Elder: November 25 to December 22

On leak year the day is added to elder. To December 23. The rest of the days were for rest? The book didn't clarify why the days at the end were empty of tree power.

My husband has been in great pain. Some tea with the Intent to sooth.
I lit three cadels, two white one blue.
Came off the top of my head but I did chant lightly
"Pain come and pain go,
Pain I order there
Leave my husband be

I've been focusing on trying to help my husband on top of medicine and other methods. Waiting to see..

Reserved for...no idea what. Just in case I find something more I want to post.

These are all the posts I will save for editing. I now declare my book of shadows open to everyone to comment on. I'm still working on transferring it from written to in here...but I currently log in with a phone. A pain in the butt to post long stuff *chuckle*
So I hope you enjoy your browsing in my quest of knowledge and study.
