....taking the German language exam (which stressed me for a few months now). My mouth got super dry 2 times because of the nervousness, but I managed to speak coherent and also use fancy words. They looked happy and satisfied,so I am pretty much expecting the highest level! smiley_dance

That's wonderful, Bychan! :D I was thinking about you yesterday and I was sure you would do great.
What level is it, B2 or even C1 (common European reference)?

I want to brag about the fact that I finally got around to drawing myself an avatar for this website! I think it turned out pretty decent. :)

Thanks! The exam is for both. It depends on what level they decide you are. It went well, so I hope for C1. I will only find out next week.

:fairy: Fingers crossed! Let us know when you find out. Though I don't doubt it will be C1.

I want to brag about getting a 9 (bones) and a 8 (muscles) in Anatomy. And with my previous 4 (joints, articulations) my final note was a 7!

Pretty happy about it. :)

Now that I've found this thread...it's my turn.
Most of my life I've had a few rings or bracelets to call my own...
Thanks to doing online surveys and finding the right seller, I've
built up my collection some.
I got tired of having bits and pieces all over the place...I finally
have my very first jewelry box...and I was amazed that I filled it
up with only a few small compartments empty ! Of coarse I have
also put gemstone bracelets I made from long strands...
But these I am proud to own:

A bragging thread! I just have to!
I'm in the lucky position of having a job I really enjoy. Not that everything is always perfect, far from it. But at the end of the day, I'm very proud of the work I do every day.

I work as a professional knitter. Let me show you some of the things I made, or was heavily involved in making. To clarify, I'm not working as a designer, and haven't designed any of the pieces; I merely advise the designers as a technician and specialist, and I realise the designers vision on the computer and at the knitting machine.

I discovered my town has a La Michoacana (Hispanic Market) with all sorts of interesting meats, including fresh chicken feet! I had seen dried ones on etsy, but its ridiculously expensive. For $2 per pound, I got a pound and a half. Probably about 15-20 feet from the market.

I hope to paint a few and put one on my rear view mirror in my car.. Maybe string a bunch of them for the front door around Samhain, and then I might give one to my dog, as they seem to make decent treats.

I just finished my third week as a summer camp counselor, and I am proud to say that my kids are (by and large, with few notable exceptions) excellent, excited to learn, and wonderful to be around. Some of them, I wish I was their real mom so I could watch them grow up.

I'm usually a very solitary person with very, very low self-esteem. It warmed my heart to know that somewhere out there, a handful of kids enjoyed my songs, stories, dumb jokes, and lessons, even if it was only for a week. :D
