I hope this isn't against the rules. It's not really about negative entities. It is mostly how tos on cleansings, banishings, wardings, and casting protective magick. I actually put all I knew into a PDF, but the forum wouldn't let me attach to that. Never fear though! I did make this post on my blog recently here, for anyone who needs it.

Good stuff,
firewall subject is a nagging thing.
I think the best kind of walls are made of thick stones, then of course certain metals which no-one uses for that purpose. Wood works not much if thin, but thick wood of good kind would work too. I'm talking about natural protection here.
Modern construction materials to build walls of course allow a lot of soaking and leaking of spirits, in and out.

I am glad you pointed that out. I noticed spirits move in and out fairly easily, but never attributed it to modern construction materials.

I also remember seeing and reading about people burying witch jars, dead cats, and sometimes fists or hands in the walls as protection. It's a shame some of those traditions are gone now.

Yeah, earthship builders suggest filling old tires with dirt to make walls, but when you come to a tire dump they smell as heck and even eyes hate it, I doubt that would be a good building material

I think ogham properties to wooden materials would hint on a lot if someone has space to build his own cottage.
Lol dead cats... what culture was that?

Believe it or not, I commonly hear and see about that in England, lol!
