What was your first spell?

I'm simply curious what people's first spell was as, at the moment, I haven't cast any spells, just played around with energies. I'm getting my basics done before I try to do a spell and, at the moment, don't have a clue what I would want. I'm curious about people's intent and what you wanted from the world with your spell.

Protection spell against an energetic vampire. I had no idea what exactly I was doing, used everything I read about and saw on TV (yep, I was younger and fooler), but it worked smoothly.
Beginner's luck I think!

Yeah everyone has those young dumb moments. When I was younger and didn't believe in magic but tried to do it anyway coz I was stupid, I tried to put protection from evil on a door. Not the door frame....

The first one that I can remember, was putting a curse on someone. It came back on me, quite badly. That was the end of that.

A protection spell I cast on one of my necklaces, and it went kinda eh. I messed up the words but other than that it was kinda a bland experience. I was way to focused on perfecting the spell rather than enjoying the experience.

My first WC spell was to attract new love...I ended up attracting a stray cat, who I loved dearly & who lived a long life. I repeated the intention and yup, added another cat. I gave up but still feed the strays. I'm convinced there are cat paw billboards advertising "free eats this way--->" with maps included.

I moved on to Witch's Bottle, boundary protection spells. It cut down on the strays considerably. As long as I keep it simple and specific, I'm OK. It's when I permit vague wording or intentions that I get into trouble.

Haha, thank you for that, ST! I'm rolling on the floor with tears in my eyes haha. I guess the universe got your request for love, as in any kind of love. Who can show love better than a fur baby....or more? If I'm not too nosey; did the spell work properly in the end?

My very first spells were often only really done in ritual! It was a spell of protection, because I had been living with a really mean poltergeist.


Though, the first spell I -ever- cast outside of a ritual circle was, sadly, a curse. It was one of those spur of the moment things, were you're glaring out in anger and you get a certain burst of dark inspiration. I regretted it the moment the words left my lips, and Karma hit me hard for it less than a month later.

Otherwise, most of my spells are designed for good luck, house cleansing, and protection.

Definitely understand that darkness inside, Brightheart. Felt that a few times and it has a mind of its own. First time my witch friend taught me about moving and changing energies it took over and I invaded him. Feel bad for it but he is more than accomplished and able to protect himself and he doesn't seem to have held a grudge.

BW, I'm sure you'll giggle, (well it is darned funny) but I eventually ended up with 7 cats before the bottle spells took affect. As I said, I gave up the "new love" intent, and considered the stock market in the pet food industry. I've learned that a spell always works, every time, one way or another.

My first was an attempt to reconcile parts of myself as a teen. I had problems with both anger as an expression of depression I was feeling. It worked but took a toll on some of those around me.

My first spell (besides the stupid things I did in high school aka weightloss, make me pretty, and so on) was a communication spell. I was in a weird turning point in my life and was suppose to be moving to CO to be with another guy to try out a relationship with him, but our communication had gotten a little off. I cast the spell to get answers about whether or not he was serious about this- I was afraid he was dragging me along.
It worked.
He called me and said he wanted to cancel the whole thing and that he wasn't ready for this.
That night, my now husband asked me out to dinner for the first time.

I am not sure what my spell was or is all I know is it worked 100% , I also made it myself.

I was feeling heartbreak for a stupid situation to begin with however through meditation I feel it was meant to happen so that I stop hating and become what everyone says I am which is kind and nice haha..

I had been going through this feeling of *heartbreak* for a solid month... I had cried my eyes out... I had finally suppressed the feelings.. I was feeling good, then I had that situation with the older ladies calling me a devil worshiper and such and they brought up that situation leading to the heartbreak and it just came ALL rushing back like a fricken tidal wave.... It took lot's to hold the emotion in..... that evening I got to relive what I had suppressed......

The next morning I had literally had enough of that feeling, I did not want that feeling anymore....

I removed all feelings for said person and transferred the feelings to a piece of paper with a circle with name and thorns drawn around it as protection in case somehow the feelings made it out.....

The person it happened with... doesn't make sense... always lecturing me, always telling me how to do things their way... a lot of tears... this person was mean to me... this person reformed me as much as I don't want to admit it... and because of this super bad emotional situation I am far stronger than I was before, I know where I am going and what I want... just need to figure out the how's now haha...

It was an easy spell to create and I got the inspiration from a quote on a zodiac post.... Basically it was saying that you could write a name in a circle and then those feelings are in the circle... so I made it into my own personal spell... after I finished I was cured within 12 hours seriously!
