These sound great and all, but before I go off and try to make some Love-Drawing Tea, I have a couple questions.
1) Would you have to use a Mortar and Pestle to grind up the ingredients before adding them into the tea, or just simply use the ingredients as they are?
2) Have you tried any of these to prove that they work?
3) Is catnip edible to humans?!
Thanks (:

Cinder, I know catnip is edible to humans. And, as for normal drinking purposes you would not have to grind up the ingredients, but maybe there is a magical purpose to it??? I have no idea...
CATNIP IN LARGE AMOUNTS CAN CAUSE NAUSEA, HALLUCINATIONS, ET.C. IT IS A HALLUCINOGEN, but I'm talking three cups of strong tea, not just like, one cup. Use with moderation, as with eucalyptus.Using a mortar and pestle is recommended to release the oils in the plant, but you should consult your doctor before taking any herbs you are unsure about. Including drinking/chewing herbs.
Herbs/Spices that are safe:
Simple kitchen spices
When using peppercorns in a potion or tea, i recommend whole peppercorns ground in a mortar and pestle.
Lemon Balm
Spear,Winter,Pepper,Chocolate mint

I'm perfectly fine with people using the k. I use it sometimes, especially when I feel like it might get misunderstood.
I just am uncomfortable when people try to force other people to use it a certain way, or correct people when they use it "wrong." So much of our paths is about finding your own way, not following arbitrary rules.
