My Salt-Dough Things

I decided to make a few things with salt-dough clay a few days ago, and I decided to share...
Image
Top half of a "Dragon Skull"
Image
Image
A shallow little bowl, which was liberally attacked with sparkly nail polish (lol)
Image
...and the bottom of the bowl
Image
My Sagittarius pendant, roughly the size of a quarter (as are all my pendants)
Image
And the back of the Sagittarius pendant, which is a pretty golden color
Image
My Ogham tree letter pendant. Once the symbol was painted, it kind of ran together, so it looks like a leaf...but oh well :)
Image
And last but not least, my pentacle pendant. A cool, shiny purple with black lines, and a translucent gold overcoat. The gold shines stronger or duller depending on how much light is hitting the pendant.

Any thoughts/comments? I'd love to hear them. I've been thinking about setting up an Etsy store and selling pendants and charms like these...

Sparkles! I've go a candle holder I made out of clay that got the nail polish treatment. I think selling your charms is a good idea. I wish you the best of luck. :)

Okay, so now that you've seen my salt-dough things, I guess I'll post some pictures of my terra-cotta clay projects. I used my art teacher's supplies (clay, tools, glazes, kiln) because I don't own any of that stuff =P

A cute little acorn-like lidded dish that I made. It's small, only about 5 inches diameter, but it's cute!

This is Finnegan the Forest Troll :D
He was the first "real" clay thing I ever made. I put little clay spheres in the (hollow) inside before I fired it in the kiln, so he jingles when you shake him :)

And last but not least, a little vase-like thing that I made for my mother.

I hope you all enjoy seeing this round of artwork :)
