Your Allergies?

Post by MidnightWolf »

I was just wondering...what is everyone allergic to?

Personally, I am allergic to Tet. Toxoid, Elastoplast, Anaesthetic and Pollen.

Anyone else?

Well, this is a different sort of topic. I am allergic to some medicine that isn't being made any more. Plus tomatoes... in spirit.

I've found that I'm possibly allergic to Pineapple. It makes my mouth swell up, which is GREAT cause I live in hawaii, so there's no chance of my running into one of those! ;)

Is there a way to be tested for certain allergies?

Like I've never been stung by a bee in my whole life, so I don't know if I'm allergic. :)

My fiancee used to push my in front of bees flying by so he could see if I'm allergic to um. Haha it was no goot.

Yes, there are tests for allergies that you could probably have done at the doctor's. There are various tests-blood tests, breath tests, skin prick tests.

pseudoepedrine(not really an allergy, but if i have it my heart rate increases and then my tricuspid-regurge acts up, blood stops flowing to the brain and i pass out. lol)
some soaps-my hands swell and itch
perm solution-makes my face swell up. lol.

also i have a nickle allergy. if i wear earrings with nickel in them, my ears bleed. and i paid $400 for my class ring. and wore it every day for a whole year. 14k white gold. then my finger started swelling up every time i put it on. sucks! lol
thats all i know of.

I'm allergic to polyester. If I wear clothing that has it in them for too long, I get red itchy bumps all over me. :(

Here goes the allergies.

All fragrances/odours and all smoke.

Msg depends, carageenan (not sure how to spell it) found in dairy products, sesame seed, sesame oil, walnuts, pecans, most teas, the plantain herb, most grains.

Cat and dog saliva (an allergist tested me on the saliva), grass which includes hay.

I get a stomach ache from peanuts, but don't have an official peanut allergy. And spilt peas make me puke, literally.

Had allergy tests done long time ago, dust mites and variety of pollen plus other things, forgot too long ago. With ageing pollen allergy is bit less. Other allergies are tobacco smoke, heavy india incense, synthetic and polyester clothes itchy/skin rash, plasters need the silk white plasters, sweeteners mayor headaches and nausea, anaesthesia.
