Europe magical sites

Post by SapphireRoad »

So how many magical places are there in Europe?

I know about Toledo in Spain, Triora in Italy.
Albion is said to be magical in itself. England being like Ing-land related to that rune,
all things Gaelic somehow related to garlic plant - a very strong herb in magic.

South of Spain being descendants of Phoenicians.
What else...

Oh I stumbled upon this in Northern France, love the symbol

The Brocken is Northern Germany’s highest mountain & a meeting place of witches on Walpurgis Night. A steam train takes you to the top.

I have oodles of books on sacred places and sacred sites but have only visited so many. Never forget, anywhere can be magical, especially in the artists 'magical times', the blue hours (twilight) and golden hours (post dawn and pre-sunset) or illuminated by firelight or candle light - anywhere with a bit of peace and quiet and/or mild weather to meditate and observe the world or the ambiance. The perfect lighting is transformative.

Equally with all the wrong elements, anywhere can seem devoid of magic (usually due to a surplus of noise, bustle, disturbance, people and crappy weather). Many a pagan pilgrimage has been spoiled by tracks reduced to bogs and the buzz of tourism.

Myself I have a particular fondness for the rolling landscape of the Southwest of England, I'm less keen on how swiftly their weather changes (the only part of the country it was like experiencing all four seasons in one day).

As a friend of mine said 'if it wasn't for all the bloody rain it wouldn't be so green'.

Magic in my experience is personal. If you don't feel a kind of personal or spiritual connection magic simply just won't flow regardless if you are on King Arthurs seat or King Arthurs privy 😂

I wonder if it would be possible to go to Eleusis and retrace the cave or grotto where rites dedicated to Persephone were held.

Maybe we will hear from Greek Male Witch or someone about it. On maps Eleusis seems to be just a land with new houses.
Nice thing though, those that took part in Eleusian rites were said to live lives fully unafraid of death.

From Palafrugell - I'm on my way to Saint-Remy de Provence and Salon de Provence (because of Nostradamus) by coastal road, probably through Girona and Montpellier.
I can expose my position now, since gang-stalkers are being hunted down and their hunters are using me as radar. No kidding. Probably high-tech worth stealing or retribution.

Put up some extra shields, you should be able to out-wit these guys. Use your magic and this space between you and them.
You deserve to enjoy these magical places you are able to visit.

Thank you.

Yes I'm trying to seal my field.
Moreover there are winged beings with hammers, axes, swords and spears. I think hammers induce suicides in these people. Axes come when they are mad at each other. But it is hard to say with certainty.

Eleusis or Eleusina as its called in Greek, is the city, hmmm never thought about it though, I think we can retrace the location UNLESS they have made it ancient monument, which means we can only go through specific paths and stuff... :)

There are any number of hills, mounds, cairns, wells and trees that are all considered at least sacred if not magical.
I found this book that looked pretty interesting, https://emmajwells.com/books/pilgrim-ro ... ish-isles/
I would recommend Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well, and of course Stonehenge, Sherwood Forest and Bru na Boinne that includes New Grange, then Lock Ness, Edenborough, Orkney Islands, ...maybe not in that order LoL, at least these are the places I would visit if I Ever get there.
