What could this be?- Voice auto speaks from the throat

Hello everyone,

I needed your opinion on what this experience could be.

It's been aproximately 2 years since I experienced this for the first time in my life.

Basically, when I listen to certain music, I feel strong things inside myself. A recurring event is that when I listen to some specific music, " a voice" automatically starts speaking in my throat.I cannot control this voice. Some other things that happen when this voice speaks is the following:

• 1. A certain rush throughout the body, it is warm and afterwards I can feel the release of cold rush

• 2. Shaking in the body. In the first few months my head was shaking violently

• 3. The voice in my throat sings more and more powerful along the choir/certain parts of the track

• 4. On many occassions, when the voice sings powerfully, my eyes are automatically closed and feel a whirl of energy in my right eye

Has anyone of you ever experienced a similar event of a voice automatically speaking? So far, I was afraid of this event however with time I felt I was not hurt by this event and chilled out.

What does worry me a bit is the purpose of the voice speaking automatically. I would like to believe I have not done anything to invoke it.

Well, lately it has been positive. In the beginning, it would call me names disguising it as other people's voices... I thought I was speaking telepathically while being able to see their face, which obviously was false.

Frankly, I don't know its purpose. I tried searching online and even sort of tried discussing this with a yoga teacher and she was clueless.

Ain't it beautiful when you try finding answers and you are not given answers?

Returning to the soundtracks...I felt I was "guided" to these tracks and most of the time When listening to them, it makes me more alive... All good things while sometimes my eyes are automatically closed and feel some energy on the right eye. The voice usually sings along the chorus and if I deliberately attempt to shut it , I am not able to do that.

I wish I could describe it better however it is really difficult over the internet.

In my limited experience not getting firm answers happens quite a bit on this path. That's just my own experience. Often I have to think for myself about what I believe to be true.

In the case of what you are perceiving; I can think of two possibilities. There may be more. The first could be that you are entering an altered state brought on by music that you personally respond to, and in that state you are connecting to a deep part of your subconscious or unconscious mind. That could leave you with the perception that the voice comes from outside of yourself. The brain is complex and you could potentially experience strange auditory phenomena generated internally.

Somewhere around there are threads about shadow work. We have positive and negative self-talk.

The other possibility is that it is an external phenomena coming to or through you.

I'm sure there are other possible explanations in addition.

You could always consider going to a really good and reputable medium or spiritual healer and see what they have to say.

I don't know if that's the case, though. I am by no means a specialist, but Becks' idea about the medium is a place to start.

Just as I was guided to find these soundtracks, I was also guided to discuss with a particular spiritual healer on the internet.

It was funny because it seemed a was asking a question , living in the head and she would give me an answer that I would experience in the future.

When I asked the healer about the voice singing from the throat, she said it was my soul. I usually see her online available for consultation however nothing inside me makes me want to chat with her. The sensation is the complete opposite from the initial one when something nearly made me consult things with her.

In one of our last consultations, she said something like : "I would receive answers at the right time". Also ... "A lie for a good purpose can be forgiven".

Very interesting that you wrote channeling.

There was a period I could clearly sense a voice switching between my throat and the right side of the brain.

When I read channeling in your post, it instantly reminded me of the lady who I visited for the reiki initiations. This lady discussed her channeling ability with me and said that when she is channeling, her voice becomes darker and the channeling drains her energy levels quickly.

Does golden color above the head mean anything in particular?

I can't be sure.
Still, I guess it's possible that you are channeling. And my best suggestion is, whomever you are channeling, is somehow connected to the tracks you are listening to when the voice appears and to the golden color.
Like Becks suggested, you may consult a good medium and they may be able to help you.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject would like to chime in too?

Old post but made me think (ouch).

I'd listened to the 1st recording example that was given & thought "good lord, who could sing to this?!" The recording jangled every nerve. I honestly could only endure about 30 seconds &'skipped ahead to see if it improved. (It didn't.) Not my cuppa tea & it seemed to me that the piece may be designed to thrust the energy or spirit body out of alignment, ie to force a psychic shift. The OP might well have been directed to it on purpose to facilitate the experience.

As for the various sensations that the original poster Lighter had described, they sound like channeling to me. I've done trance channeling of various entities & each had their specific I.D., or recognizable pattern.

Another example I'm reminded of is singing in tongues (singing, not conversational speaking) which has happened when I meditate while sitting on the ground. It starts with reproducing a single tone like a tuning fork's response is a sympathetic resonance; then randomly warbles experimentally along the scale until it rushes full throttle into a kind of tune less song which vibrates the heck out of my sinuses & makes my forehead itch. I feel that it's in sinc with earth resonance flowing thru my body. Once I'd learned to direct energy (as in casting circles) I'm not bothered by it any more.

In a way it's like when I suddenly start to hum tunelessly under my breath sometimes as I'm walking past a shelf display of quartz crystals at a new-age store. Inevitably I'll end up purchasing the stone that's pinging my radar. If anyone's tuned to crystals then you'll know what I mean.
