The Starman Tarot

Post by RedRavenFox »

I decided to buy this deck even though I am not sure I will totally connect with deck. I am a Bowie fan and I just cannot resist. Besides maybe after awhile I will have connection with it.

Oh my gosh that's pretty cool. Lots of imagery going on there. I'm a huge Bowie fan also, cried all day when he passed.
The artist had worked with Bowie ….that's amazing, I'm sure he would have had to get permission from Bowies estate to print those. I wonder how long it took to create them and if Bowie had any idea that this would be in the works? I had always felt Bowie to have a foot in the magical door anyway so this is a great find.
and here's a bit from a different star...

Hope I can find a deck in a brick and mortar...I don't shop on-line.
thanks for the heads up

Nice to see another Bowie fan on this site! I too cried the day he died.

So what are some of your favorite Bowie albums? I tried to limit mine to five but even though I combined the Berlin Trilogy I went over five. So here are mine in no particular order:

The Man Who Sold the World
Let’s Dance
Ziggy Stardust
Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)
Outside
Young Americans
The Berlin Trilogy

There are other songs I like from different albums like Rebel Rebel and I’m Afraid Of Americans but those are my top albums...today.

If you don’t mind chains Barnes and Noble has it on sale. I have seen it at local Metaphysical shops and there is a special box set that has gold flakes on the cards...but it’s at least $100. The set I bought was a little over $18.

Oh ok, thanks, I think there is one Barns and Noble left within 20 miles of here :|
I think my all time favorite Bowie album is Aladdin Sane, I could listen to that all day. His death was made harder by the fact my best friend committed suicide and she was his biggest fan, she went to all his concerts (I couldn't afford it or my parents wouldn't let me go, it was always something) she even made great sculpture of him in ceramic class way back when. When he died I grieved her death all over again.
By the way, I see you signed up for tapatalk, could you please read this thread and fix the signature line? http://everythingunderthemoon.net/forum ... 28633.html
Thanks so much,
tomorrow...Barns and Nobel!

I am so sorry for your loss. That's terrible.

When you go to Barnes and Noble make sure they match the online price. They did that for me and I have a membership so it was pretty cheap considering. Otherwise you might pay as much as $37 or more for it.

I miss her, she was a very talented artist, thanks for the condolences.

Re: books... dang, good tip thanks so much, so do they do that with all merchandise provided on line?

My local one does. Some stores even match other online store prices. It just depends.

Incidentally, I did buy a tarot bag specifically made for it. It's very nice.
