Just out of curiosity, do you have some hereditary link to vikings, or is this another flavor of witchcraft that I haven't heard of before?

I'm a Finn, so I guess I don't need to explain my curiosity more than that.

Hi I'm a Hedgewitch on an Anglo-Saxon path, which is pretty close as we worship many of the same Gods & Goddesses (eg I personally believe Eostre in our pantheon to be cognate with Freya in yours, and she'd be called Freo in Old English!) Also, I come from part of England which was part of the Danelaw at one time, so there are a lot of Viking Age survivals around here. Incidentally, Seidr translates as Siden in Old English and I regard it as part of my path too, particularly the oracular kind and the casting of influence for healing purposes.
